Our volunteers are an invaluable asset by providing information and education through distribution of flyers and pamplets throughout strategic areas in the City of Houston regarding the Terminally Ill Program (organ transplants, dialysis etc.) to enhance our fund raising efforts.There is a great need to inform and create consciousness about individuals who suffer from a terminal illness and do not have the financial/medical means to continue treatment. Our Volunteer Program is able to: Provide transportation and general medical assistance referrals to individuals in the process and/or recovery of organ transplants, terminal illness, dialysis, infectious disease, etc. In some instances, coordinate events for recipients who are in ICU or Special Care Units and require assistance but do not qualify for federal, state or local medical assistance programs.

By means of this document, we want to express our profound thankfulness for the attention and support given to our volunteers. It is not their intention to make you feel uncomfortable on your daily driving routine. They represent a hope for those individuals who suffer from a terminal illness. Our organization implemented this program to create a foundation to provide medical and financial assistance to individuals with a terminal illness. All this has emerged due to the great necessity that many members of our community face every day. It is our intention to inform and create consciousness about this situation which is not exclusive to undocumented immigrants but it also affects U.S. citizens and legal aliens.
